Kenny J -- It's a great day to be a Cubs fan (Bodie wouldn't know). Sorry I missed your calls last night. Were you drunk? Yesterday was Homecoming in Viroqua so we went to the game and then out for ice cream. By the way, we lost 54-6.
Why do you ask if I was drunk? Drunk with elation, maybe.
Sorry I didn't respond quicker to the blog, I had to dust my World Champion Chicago White Sox memorbilia in my den and hang up my World Champion Chicago White Sox hat and shirt.
I did watch last night and I was happy for the Cubs. My sister got her tickets for the playoffs and the World Series so I am hoping they last long in the playoffs so that I might get to go to a World Series game on the north side of town this year.
Oh and we won our homecoming game last night, but I didn't get any ice cream because I hurried home to watch the Cubs and Brewers games.
Oh I forgot, I do have a piece of Cubs memorabilia in my den. Its a ticket for Wrigley Field from the 2004 World Series. Problem was the national league rep was from Florida that year.

Sorry I was out of the loop for a while. I was out in Denver for a week on business and did not have much time to check the blog. I was actually at the Rockies game on Fiday night when the Cubs clinched so I missed the game. I spent most of the game watching the outfield scoreboard showing the rest of the games in the league to see what the Cubs and Brewers were doing.
I am so much enjoying all of the White Sox fans reliving their past to soften the blow of the Cubs winning the division. Does it really matter if you won 2 years ago or 50 years ago?? All I know is that the Sox lost 90 games this year and are going to be home on their couch watching with the rest of us!!!!
But anyway, GO CUBS!!!!!
